BRICKS: Montgomery County Building Blocks

Mrs. Hudson's Tuttle Middle School students did it again!
They created another outstanding exhibit for the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County.
This time it was all about Brick.
Montgomery County has a facinating history of brick making and the students did a wonderful job of sharing that history.

They decorated the walls to look like brick walls.
Then attached their brick info onto the 'brick' walls.
Included was a Lego brick building area.
Bricks, bricks and more bricks.

A display case with small sample bricks, raw shale,
a brick cutting wire and a painting of the Poston kilns (often called 'kills')
A display case with an old fashioned, wooden brick mold, a brick carrying tool
a sample frame of brick colors and an

Alhambra tile. Yep, right here in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
