Congratulations to Hannah Keedy and Brian Smith for winning the Carnegie Museum's Invention Convention. Both presented compelling inventions that solve the ever growing energy problem in unique ways. Hannah presented an invention that had to do with hydroelectricity, and Brian presented an invention that focused on man-powered energy. Once again our congratulations go out to these two aspiring inventors. If you would like to see their inventions just stop by the museum when we re-open March 2, 2010. Exhibit Features powerful reminders
Edith Dallinger, long-time member of Montgomery County's League of Women Voters, dresses up as Carrie Chapman Catt, a leader in the woman suffrage movement that culminated in the adoption of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote.
